Mutual Ownership & Media Release Agreement

The Art of Story · Recording dates: October 5 – November 16, 2026

The Art of Story culminates in delivering your story live, with professional video capture. Every participant signs the agreement below before recording. This page reproduces the terms so you can review them in advance; you will sign the formal copy on site.

1. Consent to record

I grant The Next Institute and Talk Talk Inc., its legal representatives, and assigns the irrevocable and unrestricted right to record my image, voice, and performance via video and audio during the storytelling event.

2. Ownership & usage rights

Both The Next Institute and Talk Talk Inc. and I (the Participant) share ownership of the recorded media.

My rights: I retain the perpetual, royalty-free right to use, reproduce, publish, and distribute my recorded story - including posting it on my personal or professional social media or sharing it in my portfolio.
The Next Institute and Talk Talk Inc. are granted the perpetual, royalty-free, worldwide right to use, edit, publish, display, and distribute the recorded video in whole or in part, in any and all media - including but not limited to their website, newsletters, and promotional or marketing materials.

3. Editing & modification

The Next Institute and Talk Talk Inc. reserve the right to edit, alter, copy, or exhibit the video to fit promotional and website requirements. I understand that my voice, likeness, and name may be used in connection with these promotional efforts.

4. Release from liability

I release and hold harmless The Next Institute and Talk Talk Inc. and its agents from any and all claims, demands, or causes of action arising out of the use of the video and audio recordings as authorized above, including any claims for defamation or invasion of privacy.

5. Acknowledgment

Participants confirm they are over the age of 18 and have read this release in full, understanding its contents, meaning, and impact, before signing on site.
